The Vincennes Farmers Market will host a special event for young vendors later this month.
Organizer Shirley Rose says the Kids Farmers Market is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, in the courtyard behind the Old State Bank Building downtown.
Children younger than 13 can take part by selling items they have baked, crafted or made themselves. Items purchased elsewhere for resale will not be accepted.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. alongside the regular Farmers Market. Setup begins at 8 a.m.

WVUB and WVUT will be on site with a live broadcast that day.
