One Cause is bringing its 10th anniversary celebration home to Vincennes.
The local group will perform August 21 at 7 p.m. at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center on the Vincennes University campus. The show will feature former band members, surprise guests and songs from throughout the group’s history.
Andrew Staggs said One Cause began as a contemporary Christian music project with a rock sound. Since then, the group has developed a style that combines alternative rock with instruments including guitar, drums, harmonica and banjo.
Staggs said the group’s work also has a purpose beyond the music. After learning more about human trafficking, One Cause began putting money left after event costs toward efforts to rescue children and reduce trafficking in local communities.
Tickets, including standard, early-entry and VIP options, are available at therealonecause.com.
